While other parts of the world are crying the blues relating to home values and real estate sales, Carmel Ca home sales have been booming and the year to date sales are up 35 percent. Sellers have had to make very small adjustments on listing price as median sales price is down four-tenths of a percent from a year ago, but buyers are getting more house for their dollar spent. The Monterey County Association of Realtors statistics show there were 122 homes sold in Carmel through July 31 this year, up from 90 for the same period last year.
