purchase a home in Carmel, California in 2020, during Covid.
My full-time residence, at that time, was in Napa, California. My
property in Napa was on the market and I was planning to wait until my
Napa property sold prior to purchasing a home in Carmel. I decided to
lease a home in Carmel as I began my search for the perfect Carmel
cottage.
I interviewed a few realtors by cell phone to determine who could help
me in my search, as the real estate market was very challenging in
2020. I had very specific needs; style of home, location, privacy, and I
would need a long closing if I was lucky enough to find the perfect
home before my Napa property sold. I also wanted to work with a
realtor who had a success record in the Carmel area, who was
profession, had integrity, was resourceful and had available resources.
I was certain, after a thorough conversation with Nicole, that she was
perfect for the challenges I faced.
Nicole, without hesitation, went immediately to work and in a matter of
a couple of weeks found me the perfect cottage. Nicole did an
exemplary job in all aspects of the negotiations. As my property in
Napa had not sold at that time, she was able to convince the owner to
allow me to rent for six months prior to the closing date. She was on
top of all communications with all the parties involved, prepared the
necessary paperwork and agreements to satisfy the seller’s agent, the
seller and me. The process was much easier than I had expected.

In 2021 I purchased a home in Palm Beach, Florida. I had planned to
own both homes and travel to Carmel during the hot summer months
in Florida. I decided it was becoming too difficult for me to manage
both homes, so I made the decision to sell my Carmel property.
I hired Nicole to help with the sale. As I was spending more time in
Florida because of employment that I had begun, Nicole also helped me
prepare my home to sell; working with gardeners, contractors, and a
cleaning crew. During that time, I was facing some difficulties with
some issues requiring permits with Monterey County. Offers were
coming in sooner than expected and Nicole was able to convince the
buyer that the permit issues were being handled and would be finalized
at closing.
I cannot recommend Nicole enough. She is very dedicated, smart,
ethical, and honest. You can have complete confidence that she will put
all her energy into your project, whether it is finding you the perfect
home or property -- or selling your home or property. I would have
hired Nicole to help me find properties in Florida had that been
possible. She did, however, assist me in finding the best realtor to work
with me here.

I am the executor of an estate and was tasked with selling an oceanfront home in Carmel. I live in Los Angeles and needed a broker/agent who could take charge without me being present in Northern California. My requirements were simple: I wanted a stress-free experience, a broker who could handle all aspects before, during and after escrow (since I was not going to be present) as well as a broker who was

The home was priced competitively which generated a lot of interested and eager buyers. This coupled with a lack of inventory of similar homes for sale in the area produced several qualified all-cash offers.
In the end, the house was sold in excess of two million dollars over asking price in less than 2 weeks. The entire process, front start to finish went without a hitch. I would recommend Nicole, her team, and
Sotheby’s to anyone needing a broker/agent in the Carmel Area. They really took care of everything I needed, were very responsive and respectful of the estate’s needs, and were very easy and pleasant to
work with.
